This is a head office Perth based staff position with a very reputable contractor in Perth who have a long legacy of delivering high quality projects for the Blue Chip Mining and Energy companies in WA and around Australia

The Ideal candidate for this position will have worked on site for a number of years and be at a stage of their life where they would like to return to a Perth based role. Our clients Design work is out sourced and therefore you will act as a conduit between the design and construction for buildability and constructability issues.

Essential attributes
An Electrical and Instrument trade background and completed a number of years in the trade before attaining Supervisor level or greater on site and henceforth worked in that capacity for a number of years.
You will have had sufficient exposure to design and drawings and be capable of identifying where design will not work therefore be capable of supporting site when scope cost or schedule slips and thus may require high level technical support to talk them through.
You must be flexible to go to site for a day or two when required or as the project demands for a day visit to assist in delivery or troubleshooting.
To demonstrate the right attributes you will have looked to develop and further your career and will possibly have done some Electrical Engineering courses/units at TAFE or University.

Equally as critical you would need to be able to converse at a high level with clients and contractors . You will be a person of a nature and character to be able to manage challenging and difficult situations and at the same time maintain composure and calmness whilst the different areas of the team are requiring guidance or in conflict.

An Electrical Engineer may be considered for this role however no design work is required.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and be balanced with the working environment, support and fantastic culture and team this client offers people to work within. As this is a Perth based role Site rates of Pay from rates reimbursable contracts will not be matched but other benefits will be offered as described.
