New Opportunity for an experience Purchasing Professional to join a Global Oil and Energy Company in Perth at a pivotol time is Project Development

The position will ensure that all Procurement Planning and Reporting activities are in line with the business
standards and procedures and will be responsible for preparing and maintaining Procurement Plans and ensure data validity and integrity Data and Systems, performing
exception reports and verifying results with relevant Dept. focal points.

Further accountabilities will include acting as point of contact for issues concerning Planning and Monitoring the
Procurement Cycle, acting as point of contact for any specific issues concerning expediting activity for User Depts.

You will be involved with conducting strategic analysis of Procurement and Planning activities, providing reports in accordance with APR, EAL management and auditor’s reporting requirements, preparing bi-annual C&P reports. Develop and maintain C&P “how to” documentation.

The role reports to the Contract and Procurement Manager and liaises with all levels of staff including User Depts, Finance, HR and HSE at all
locations within the company seeking and exchanging information.

The requirements for the role include ‘Ideally’ Tertiary qualification in (law, economics, engineering preferred) or higher degree or other suitable experience.
– Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience in reporting and planning role.
– Minimum 3 years’ experience in working for a major oil company in the Exploration and Production business area.

Familiarity with contract and procurement methods, terminology and processes;
Very good performance orientation with close attention to detail;
Team player capability, frequent interaction with all other User Departments;
Very good internal auditing/monitoring skills;
Ability to produce concise and accurate reports;
High degree of computer literacy and proven skills in Microsoft, Visio, Project, Word, Excel,
Power Point programs;
High level of professional and personal integrity
Good proven problem solving skills
High fluency in written and spoken English
Able to work with minimal supervision
Used to an environment where there is constant requirement to maintain confidentiality
Able to meet deadlines and work to tight schedules
